Creating my book cover template in CS6

I have purchased an old nook from the library sales,

I have removed the cover and measured the dimensions of the book to include a 3mm bleed around the dimensions of the book.

And not forgetting to include the inside flaps.

Height – 215mm + 6mm = 221mm

Width – 505mm + 6mm = 511mm

Open Photoshop and go to File, New.

A dialogue box will open so you can name the template you are creating.

Click OK
